Rogers Scholars is a week-long residential program that focuses on developing leadership skills, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Students participate in hands-on activities, team-building exercises, and real-world problem solving, all while building connections with peers from across the region. The Clinton County High School History Club had the opportunity to travel to Washington DC this past weekend. While there, students got to go to Arlington Cemetery, where they were able to witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington House, and JFK’s eternal flame. They were also introduced to many new experiences, such as riding the subway and visiting the Smithsonian Museums. Students were able to take a tour of the US Capital, see the White House, and even go on a ghost tour. We are so thankful to our community sponsors, parents, and chaperones for their help in making this experience possible for our amazing students.
